About SMART Doc PT

At SMART Doc PT, we believe that exceptional physical therapy goes beyond the standard healthcare model. Our mission is to provide individualized, performance-based care that empowers you to move, heal, and thrive—without the limitations of insurance-driven treatment plans, cookie-cutter home exercise programs or being passed off to support staff for your treatment session. We take a hands-on, science-backed approach to rehabilitation, helping you recover efficiently and return to the activities that matter most.

Our Philosophy

We know that no two bodies—or recoveries—are the same. That’s why we create customized, one-on-one treatment plans designed around your specific goals, whether that’s running pain-free, lifting without restrictions, or simply moving through life with confidence. Our approach blends cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques with expert clinical reasoning, ensuring that your care is both evidence-based and tailored to your needs.

At SMART Doc PT, we specialize in:

Pelvic Health & Women’s Wellness – Providing expert care for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Spine & Orthopedic Recovery – Guiding patients through post-surgical rehab, chronic pain management, and injury prevention.
Total Knee/Hip Replacement Rehabilitation – Maximizing strength, mobility, and confidence after surgery. ✔ Breast Cancer Rehabilitation – Addressing post-surgical pain along with postural and mobility challenges.

Meet Dr. Meg

I’m Dr. Meg, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 15 years of experience in orthopedic and performance-based rehabilitation. After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons University in Boston, I dedicated my career to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence. My specialties include complex spine rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries and post-op recovery, women’s pelvic health, and breast cancer recovery—areas where I’ve seen firsthand how expert, personalized care makes all the difference.

Beyond the clinic, I’m passionate about giving back. For 13 years, I’ve volunteered alongside my therapy dog, Porter, at Boston Children's Hospital, bringing comfort and companionship to young patients. I’ve also had the honor of running the Boston Marathon three times for charity—a testament to my love of movement and making a difference.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me spending time on the lake with my husband, Travis, and our miracle son, Grady.

At SMART Doc PT, we’re redefining physical therapy—because you deserve care that’s as strong, smart, and determined as you are.

Let’s get you back to doing what you love.
